Youth

Our children and youth bring life, spirit and joy to our church family.  Very often they remind us of who we are and what it means to be followers of Christ

Afterschool Program

      Our afterschool program meets on Tuesday afternoon from 3:00-05:00 and is for those in        Grades 6,7 and 8. Adults are available to help with homework.  We also provide them with a snack and a craft.  Work all done?  We can pull out the games.

Boomwhackers

We have a boomwhacker group that meets the second and fourth Sunday at 6:00.  This is for children Kindergarten and above.

            Puppets

Our puppet group meets the second and fourth Sunday at 6:30.  Those age 8 and above can do puppets.

Youth Group

Our Youth Group is for youth in Grades 6 and above.  The advisors are Jack and Lea Bailey.

They have been busy fixing up and painting the Youth House just west of the church.  Now that that work is nearly completed they will  be gathering on Friday evenings from 7:00-10:00 for games, food, music and hanging out with friends. 

Sunday morning worship for grades 6 and above is now being held at the Youth House.  This service includes contemporary music and discussion on current topics.  Jack and the kids go over after the morning announcements and greetings at the traditional worship.

Field Trip anyone?  On Sunday, March 26th the youth will be attending the contemporary service at Millersport United Methodist Church.
